Apr 19th 2007 6:26AM I am a disabled veteran and now a college student. I have a handgun concealed carry license and nothing pisses me off more than having to leave my sidearm at home every day when I leave for school. Because of this law, if a similar incident such as Virginia Tech were to happen at my school, I'd end up having to run or get gunned down like a sheep... why... because the government says I don't have the right to defend myself or others when I'm at school.
All of my sympathy to the families of the victims, but at the same time, one person with a concealed firearm and the knowledge to use it could have severely lessened the damage that occured. This is true of every school shooting that has ever occured... So, my thanks to the government for making me a "victim-in-waiting".
