I assumed you never saw the cartoon.It was produced at the same studio that gave us the Pink Panther and the Inspector cartoons.This was aired on NBC,contrary to JABBERJAW on ABC.The titled character was voiced by ROWAN & MARTIN'S LAUGH-IN's,Arte Johnson.He had a finny companion named Catfish,voiced by Arnold Stang. It can currently be seen as part of the Pink Panther on the BOOMERANG cable channel.
