Well, an unasked question: "What would the Zoom Kobe IV look like if it were reincarnated as a trail runner?" has been answered. The similarities were evident to begin with, but one of the new colorways -- incorporating varsity purple and varsity maize -- makes it stupendously obvious. The answer? Not bad at all. Look for them to drop this fall. Detail shots follow.07.30.10 By: Russ Bengtson

Nike Air Force 1 Low '5 Borough Pack' Release Info
When it came time to pay respect to the five boroughs of New York City, Nike called on DJ Clark Kent to design a pack of five Air Force 1 Lows, one for each borough of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island. Each has similar features -- "varsity jacket" wool panels and chenille Swooshes mixed with full-grain leather, metal eyelets, gum rubber outsoles, and borough-specific branding on the laces and heels -- and are just made up in different colorways. All five will drop at the Harlem House of Hoops this Saturday, July 31st. In addition, the Manhattan pair will be available at the flagship Foot Locker on 34th Street. If you're geographically challenged (i.e. don't live in the NYC area), they'll also be available online at nike.com. Act quick. Detail shots follow.07.29.10 By: Russ Bengtson
éS Square 2 'Atiba Jefferson'
éS teams up with skate (and basketball, and pretty much anything else he wants) photographer extraordinaire Atiba Jefferson to put together this super-cool package based on the Square 2 skate shoe. The shoe itself is fairly basic, with some of Atiba's work under the clear outsole, his signature on the heel, and the film roll logo (eff digital!) embossed on the leather tongue patch. Included in the package is a book showing off the best work of his 15-year relationship with éS. (Jeez, why dontcha get married already?) Out now. Detail shots follow.07.29.10 By: Chace Johnson
