Honestly? We're a little skeptical. When yet another company reveals yet another full-length cushioning -slash- energy-return midsole/outsole, we have to wonder: What is this going to improve more? The runner's experience, or the company's recognizability? After all, now we're being told that the best cushioning might be no cushioning at all. Reebok's full-length ZigTech midsole purportedly transfers energy from the heel forward with every stride -- which would certainly be beneficial to runners (and other athletes, who presumably will get their own shoes in due turn). The bright midsole is fused to a minimalist nylon upper. The initial drop looks to be a big one, as there are already a ton of colorways -- both men's and women's -- on display. Look for them around March 1st. And make up your own mind. Detail shots follow.
