The official release of the Air Jordan 2010 is still a long way off, and summer is further off than that -- but that hasn't stopped the people at Jordan from whipping up this "outdoor" version of the newest flagship shoe. The differences are easy enough to see. The porthole on the side is gone, and criss-crossing straps have been added, closer to Air Raid than the vestigal ones on the Air Jordan VIII. And, as on the Air Raid, the midsole appears to have been reinforced where the straps connect. The upper appears to be constructed of ballistic mesh, and the substantial toebox has been heavily perforated and reinforced at the tip. You'll get more information as we do. For now, scroll down for a look at another colorway.
