The Alpha Air Jordan 1 is the answer to a single question -- is it possible to make a playable, modern basketball shoe from a 25-year-old silhouette? The Alpha update does away with much of the stitching from the original, and adds a modern liner and Zoom Air cushioning (along with plenty of perforations). While not as lightweight as the Zoom Kobe V or as plushly cushioned as the Air Max LeBron VII, the Air Jordan 1 Alpha wil undoubtedly turn up on NBA feet in 2010. Will it end up on yours? Suggested retail is $125. More shots follow.
