Nike and the Doernbecher Children's Hospital are teaming up for the sixth year to create the Doernbecher Freestyle Collection. The program gives young patients at the hospital the unique opportunity to work alongside Nike designers as they create their own shoe. It also grants each child complete artistic freedom of their design, selecting the styles, colors, materials, patterns, and other aesthetic details on their own. The goal of the program is to raise awareness and funds for the hospital, and to date, has raised more than $2 million dollars. This year's collection features designs by Colin Callsen, Bradley Bowlby, Molly Martin, Anna Finley, Jordan Dark and Makayla Hansen as they work on the Jordan 6 Retro, Zoom Paul Rodriguez 3, Air Force 1 '07 LE, Air Zenyth, Dunk HI Skinny and Shox NZ models. Pick up a pair and support the Doernbecher Children's Hospital.
Available November 14th at Nike Sportswear 21 Mercer in NYC.
