If you want to rep the Yankees and your workplace/school frowns upon your wearing cleats, maybe try these instead. Nike is releasing this "NYC" version of the Trainer 1 in navy and white, with stitched "NEW YORK" detailing across the heels and a whole mess of baseball-related graphics (can anyone figure out what or who all the numbers on the insoles stand for?). The numbers are the jersey numbers the New York Yankees have retired, less Jackie's 42 that every team retired. I presume they omitted that one for the sake of having an even number of them.
