At StreetLevel we equally love pop art and sneakers, so we're always up for a good collabo but sometimes you need to know when to say when. Reebok recently released images of Jean-Michel Basquiat x Reebok Classics and we're not quite sure how to feel about them.
The three camo-esque sneakers have been produced in styles that include the "Terborch," "To Repel Ghosts," "Sugar Ray" and "Another Famous." Each shoe uses leather uppers which sport allover prints in their respective designs, and stay within a one-tone colorway. And this isn't the first time Reebok has used the pop art icon's work. While they're not bad looking kicks, it does make us wonder where we draw the line between art and commerce. Would you rock a pair of Keith Haring x Air Force Ones or Andy Warhol x AJ3's?
