As kids it was cool to cut up construction paper into whatever your little heart desired, but eventually you grew out of that and move on to girls, gear and gadgets. Well, visual artist David Brownings never stopped playing with paper and we're sure glad he didn't. The UK-based illustrator now specializes in paper-mache, among other things super cool, but he's caught our eye with his Paper Nikes.

Toiling away for hours on end, Brownings recreates Nike Dunks completely out of paper (and a whole lot of Elmer's and Krazy Glue). We're talking everything. The sole, the tongue, the laces, and even the box is made out of paper. A stickler for details he even breaks out the Sharpie for extra details and to hand draw the Nike logo and swoosh on certain kicks.

Available in various colorways, Brownings takes custom orders and can make a pair of Paper Shoes to your unique specifications. All you have to do is shoot him an email. Just be sure not to try an actually wear them-especially in the rain.
