Next to the All-Star (OK, and maybe the Jack Purcell), the One Star may be Converse's most iconic silhouette. As part of the 1HUND(RED) Artist Project, California retailer Blends chose to keep things simple with an all-black premium deerskin upper and just the top red eyelet indicating the (RED) involvement. There'll be a staggered release at Blends locations with receptions from 7 to 10 p.m. -- San Diego on Thursday the 22nd (tonight!), Costa Mesa Friday the 23rd, and downtown Los Angeles on Saturday the 24th. After that, there'll be a wider release.
