Designed by Japan's National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, the HRP-4C is a humanoid robot originally designed to prowl the catwalk as a fashion model. But like any top model, this one also has the urge to flex her vocal cords. Utilizing Yamaha's Vocaloid software, which allows for synthesized singing via typing in pre-programmed song lyrics and melodies, the HRP-4C girlbot is able to carry a tune that could rival her...err... contemporaries.
