Sometimes, the best and most innovative artwork isn't in some stuffy museum or pretentious gallery but actually plastered on a random corner, vacant lot or light pole. Street art connoisseur Jake Dobkin, who you might remember from last week's SL interview, patrols the streets of New York (and sometimes Tokyo, Paris, Santiago, Los Angeles, or where ever his passport takes him) in search the hottest graffiti tags and burners and posts them on his daily site Streetsy.com. Now, StreetLevel has joined forced with Dobkin to feature the work of a new street artist each week that's sure to make a splash."We kick things off this week with London's own D*Face, who showcased his work in New York for his "All Your Dreams Belong to Us" show at the Jonathan LeVine gallery. While in the Big Apple he did two street pieces: one at 13th Street near Washington in the Meat Packing District, and a second at 200 Clinton Street in Chinatown." - Jake Dobkin
