It's pretty common place when the most anticipated movies of the year become branding fodder for tee shirts, toys, shoes, rocket launchers and tampons. Getting your own store however is no ordinary feat but the "Where the Wild Things Are" pop up shop set up in L.A.'s Space 15 Twenty simultaneously brings the movie experience to life and gives your wallet a walk on the wild side.

The Maurice Sendak shopping experience offers life size ornaments like trees and log nests but more importantly its home to merchandise inspired by the film like toys, clothing and tees designed by artist Geoff McFetridge. Our only hope is that we can walk out of there with an animal suit and a crown, word to Max. [Via Kitsune Noir]
