The problem with Foamposite when Nike started using the material back in the late '90s was that the shoes they made it out of were kind of heavy. No more. They've managed to pare the Foamposite material down, and pair it with even newer tech such as Lunar Foam to make lighter shoes with the same support as the originals. Like the Skyposite, which will be worn this season by Phoenix Suns forward Amar'e Stoudemire. If you're not Amar'e, you can get your own pair at House of Hoops in December. More shots after the jump.
