Ayo, Justin Timberlake's tired of using technology. So why is Givenchy's new fragrance, Play, which Timberlake signed on to endorse last year, being housed in a bottle that looks like an MP3 player?
The faux player was designed by French sculptor Serge Mansau, who has also created bottles for Dior (Dolce Vita), Hermes (Eau de Merveilles) and Cerruti (1881). It features fast forward and rewind buttons, and a well-placed play button in the middle.
Givenchy says the the bottle's design was inspired by "mobile multimedia gadgets, those quintessential objects of modernity and style that have become both everyday objects and icons of our era."
What does desperation smell like?
