Back in 1986, the Converse Weapon was a state-of-the-art basketball shoe, worn by everyone from Bernard King to Isiah Thomas to Magic Johnson to, well, the MVP. And while the original Weapon is still a player on the streets, it just can't get it done on the court anymore. Enter the Weapon EVO. Upgraded in every way from ankle support to ventilation to cushioning (no, not with Helium or React Juice), the Weapon EVO will be on NBA courts next season, and is in stores now. Hm, it looks kind of skateable, too. Check out more photos (and an explanatory video -- feel free to skip the Wade stuff) after the jump. [Via The Shoe Game]
