There was a time not too long ago when most skate shoes looked like moon boots. Once they were done adding padding and ollie guards and airbag cushioning, and eventually you had something plush enough to sleep on. Throw in a stash pocket big enough to cart around a baby kangaroo, and your size 9s started to look like 12s. With skate shoes headed back the skinny vulcanized way, PAM and Forfex decided to go all in with a literal moonboot.
