On January 16, 1993, Michael Jordan scored 64 points in an overtime loss to the Orlando Magic. It would be a mere glitch in the matrix, as the Bulls went on to win their third NBA title in as many years. Over the course of his career, MJ would go on to score 60+ points in a game five times. The Jordan Brand has chosen to celebrate those accomplishments collectively with a new hybrid shoe, the 60+, and separately with two-shoe packs representing each individual game (one shoe in a traditional Jordan colorway, the other in the style of the opponent). This pack, the second of its kind, refers back to that game with the Magic, where Jordan's 64 were overcome by a young Shaq's 29 points and 24 boards. But he ain't get a shoe for it, did he? Look for it in August. Detailed shots after the jump. [Via Kix and the City]
