It's right when you start thinking "wow, what else could possibly be used as a basis for a sneaker design" that something like this (or this) happens. Guess someone in Beaverton still loves Hanna-Barbera. What we have here are a pair of "Big Nikes" (an '80s hightop that marked the evolutionary step between the Dunk and the Terminator so named for the, you guessed it, big NIKE lettering across the heel) done up in colorways inspired by "The Flintstones." The white and orange pair took cues from Fred's outfit (didn't that thing ever get dirty?) and the purple pair from Dino, their pet dinosaur. The "Dinos" also have that "vintage" midsole. But wait, the Flintstones didn't even WEAR shoes! Available now from Osneaker, or check your local quickstrike accounts. More flicks after the jump. [via Kix-Files]
