Before we knew Darth Vader as a whiny adolescent wrestling with his feelings, he was the most bad-ass villain of our childhoods. To celebrate the greatness of the loud-breathing Sith Lord, 100 contemporary artists and designers came together and used his iconic helmet as their blank canvas. Called "The Vader Project," the collection features the work of Gary Baseman, Tim Biskup, Dalek, Frank Kozik, Joe Ledbetter, Jeff Soto, Paul Frank, Marc Ecko, Amanda Visell, Suckadelic and more. If you couldn't make it to the recent exhibition at the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, check out photos of the collection here. Make the jump for a few of our favorites. [Via Digital Crushes]
