With an increasingly commercial art world churning out more media darlings than mixed media pieces, the amount of genuine artists in the game is dwindling. On Thursday April 23rd Fools Gold and Fader Magazine presented "Best of the Beast", an exhibition of work from Joshua Prince better known as Dust La Rock, the enigmatic creative director of Fool's Gold Records and graphic artist for companies such as Nike, Zoo York and MTV. This pop alternative to the solemn, ominous stigmas attached to religion and the occult drew crowds of hundreds to the Christopher Henry Gallery in Downtown NYC. If you're like Diddy and kicking yourself for missing it, we got you covered. Check out pictures after the jump.
